On the way home from the Rainbow Trout Farm today, we passed a little store on the corner of Oregon Hwy 224 & Hwy 212. There was a sign out front advertising their produce prices, and we just could not resist, we turned the car around and stopped at "Nature's Country Store". I only had a few minutes to look around, as they were about to close for the day. I got these juicy, yummy local Mt Hood pears at only $0.29/pound!!! Can you believe that?? I only paid $1.84 for all of the pears pictured above! Amazing!!! Several varieties of apples were also priced at just $0.29/pound, and a head of green lettuce was just $0.88 each! We will definitely be returning! Just wanted to share this Fabulous Find with all of the Portland area readers!

I drive by that place more often than not and I've never stopped by, but now I definitely will! Thanks....It actually just opened a couple months ago.
